This investment brings our total funding to over $20 million (£15 million), building on our previous Government grants and seed funding led by Connect Ventures.

Our Vision for the Future

My co-founder Nitish and I created Genie with a clear goal: to reduce legal friction and enhance global economic efficiency. We understand that contracts are the backbone of business transactions, and we’re here to make that process smoother than ever.

The goal for legal teams remains the same - mitigate legal risk under time and cost pressure. Genie helps these teams turn around documents faster than ever - a result of 8 years developing generative AI (starting from my MSc Machine Learning thesis in Generative AI 8 years ago) and a fully docx-compatible legal document editor. This means, our Agentic AI can complete entire workflows when creating, reviewing and negotiating documents, as well as just generating text.
