A Privacy Information Notice is required whenever an organization processes personal data of individuals in the Netherlands and broader EU. This document fulfills the transparency obligations under Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR and corresponding requirements in Dutch privacy law. It must be provided to data subjects at the time of data collection or within a reasonable period if data is collected indirectly. The notice needs to cover all mandatory information requirements including the identity of the data controller, purposes of processing, legal bases, data subject rights, and transfer mechanisms.
